AI track: The new rules of the game for future-proof businesses

Markets are changing faster than ever before. New technologies, shifting expectations and artificial intelligence are forcing companies to consider how they can continue to operate efficiently, make sound decisions and remain competitive in the future.

With our BasisCamp series, we provide a structured introduction to key areas of focus for modern organisations – from knowledge management, innovation and processes to strategy, business models and security.

The focus is less on the technology itself and more on the question:

How are the fundamental principles of successful organisations changing?

Each BasisCamp explores one of these topics and highlights the new opportunities that are emerging, the challenges that companies should actively address, and the specific approaches that are already proving their worth in practice today.

The sessions combine strategic perspectives with practical insights from companies and start-ups. Our speakers share experiences from real-world projects and provide guidance on how to take your first steps.

After all, future-proofing stems less from individual tools than from an understanding of how knowledge, processes, innovation and value creation interact in modern organisations.

The Basiscamps are aimed at anyone who wishes to gain concrete insights into key future-oriented topics and actively help shape the further development of their organisation.

Target audience

Those new to the subject and decision-makers from small and medium-sized enterprises who wish to gain a better understanding of key future issues, contextualise changes in day-to-day business operations, and actively shape the future development of their organisation.

Understanding AI: The basics for successful implementation in business

Artificial intelligence seems to be everywhere these days. Yet the more widespread AI becomes, the less people dare to ask questions and challenge the status quo. In this BasisCamp, participants will develop a shared basic understanding of artificial intelligence. The focus is on what modern AI is capable of today, where its limitations lie, and why it is influencing virtually every area of business. This session lays a technical foundation upon which the subsequent BasisCamps will build.

Key topics of the session:

Participants will learn to assess AI realistically and understand the fundamental mechanisms behind generative AI and language models, whilst developing a shared understanding of how to use AI successfully in a business context. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions for which there is often no room in day-to-day business life.
