Die Fokusgruppe Sustainability & Social Entrepreneurship lädt zur achten Ausgabe der „sustainabilityBITS“ ein.

Die Idee für die „sustainabilityBITS“ wurde im letzten Jahr von den Teilnehmer:innen der Fokusgruppe entwickelt. Der Grundgedanke „Learning by sharing“ dient dem Teilen von Erfahrungsschätzen und dem Austausch zunächst innerhalb der Community. Dementsprechend richtet sich die Veranstaltung an alle digitalHUB Aachen-Mitglieder.

Die „sustainabilityBITS“ sind digitale Appetit-Häppchen zur Mittagszeit – 10 Minuten Impuls und 20 Minuten Diskussion – und finden jeweils am letzten Mittwoch des Monats statt.

RecyCoal

The RecyCoal project was founded in 2016 as a project of the student-run, non-profit initiative  Enactus Aachen e.V.   founded. 



Currently, the project is active at the sites in Rwanda, Malawi and Namibia. Together with their long-time partner in Leonidas, a pilot coal business is being implemented in Kigali, Rwanda. After winning at the Enactus Germany National Cup, the WorldCup in Puerto Rico is coming up in October. 



Charlotte Herboth (B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering) and Linda Lingenauber (M.Sc. Chemistry) have been members of the RecyCoal project for 2 ½ years and the project leaders for the past year. Together they were at the project site in Rwanda for 4 weeks last year for the implementation of the pilot coal business.

The idea for the "sustainabilityBITS" was developed last year by the participants of the  focus group . The basic idea "Learning by sharing" serves the sharing of experience treasures and the exchange first within the community. Accordingly, the event is aimed at all digitalHUB Aachen members. 



The "sustainabilityBITS" are digital appetizers at lunchtime - 10 minutes of impulse and 20 minutes of discussion - and take place on the last Wednesday of each month.
