Waldführung „Was wir vom Wald für das nachhaltige Wirtschaften lernen können"

The forest is a very good example of how nature operates sustainably. It also had about 350,000 years to develop into that. That is why it is a good example of a sustainable economic system as well, because there are many similarities between the forest and our economy: there is growth and competition, but also cooperation and plenty of communication. And there is even a monetary equivalent. However, the forest also follows a different overarching principle in its behavior than our current economic system does.

With a walk of about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, broken up by shorter breaks, we want to approach this understanding of sustainable economic activity. We will mostly walk on paved paths, but also partly across the forest. Sturdy footwear is mandatory, appropriate clothing as well. And please keep in mind that it is usually cooler in the forest than in the city. For an exercise I ask you to bring a small seat pad with you, so that you can sit on the ground.

We meet at 16:15 at the Köpfchen border crossing behind the Holz-Ei at Café KuKuK (  https://w3w.co/sessel.aufdruck.ernsten ). The starting point of our walk is reachable by bus line 14 (direction "Eupen Bushof") from the main station (stop "Köpfchen Altes Zollamt").
